MAKING THE MOST OUT OF YOUR CLOSET SPACE
Your closet can be anything you want it to be. But, with so many possibilities, it might be difficult to make the best decision for yourself and your closet.
There is a slight gap between the bottom of the hanging clothes and the floor in many closets. While you don’t want to overcrowd this area, you could make the most of it by storing small items here, such as shoes or handbags.
Include a center island
If you have the space, a centre island can radically transform your closet area. It not only provides you with a useful work place, but it also adds to your storage space. Keep in mind that the island you choose is not too wide as it would clog the area and make it impossible to use the closet efficiently.
A small center island is also a great storage area for jewellery such as rings, watches, necklace, etc.
An attractive, usable footrest can be added if necessary to allow access to clothing and accessories hung near the ceiling.
Place a mirror on the door
Wall space is often limited in a bedroom closet. So, where should the mirror go? On the inside of the door is typically a good choice because it frees up wall space for cabinets while still providing the necessary mirror.
It’s also important to make sure the mirror doesn’t bang into any cabinet corners or walls.
Let’s face it: making the most of your closet space may be difficult. However, with these tips, you’ll be one step closer to making the most of your closet space!
